Offshore SEO company: what it is, and how offshoring differs from outsourcing
An offshore SEO company is an SEO provider based in another country that runs part or all of your search optimization remotely, either as a managed service or as a dedicated team you direct. Digital Magma is an offshore SEO company in Noida, India, working for businesses and agencies in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
People use offshoring and outsourcing as if they meant the same thing. They answer different questions. Offshoring is about where the work happens: in another country, usually several time zones away. Outsourcing is about who does it: an outside firm instead of your own staff. A Chicago retailer that hires an agency in Denver has outsourced without offshoring. A software company that opens its own search desk in Bengaluru has offshored without outsourcing. An offshore SEO company sits where the two overlap.
So the decision has two layers: the shape of the arrangement first, the vendor second. Skip the first and you end up comparing a managed retainer with a staff augmentation quote, two prices that mean nothing side by side.
Still weighing up the country itself? Our guide on how to outsource SEO to India covers that decision, along with costs and first steps. This page starts where that one stops: the move offshore is settled, and you now need to pick a partner and decide how the engagement will be run.
Delivery models
Offshore SEO vs onshore and nearshore: how the delivery models compare
Offshore SEO trades same-hours contact for lower fees and a working day that runs ahead of yours. Onshore buys full overlap at the highest price. Nearshore sits between the two.
| Factor | Onshore | Nearshore | Offshore (India) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical example | A US firm hiring a US agency | A US firm with a team in Latin America, or a UK firm with one in Eastern Europe | A US, UK, Canadian or Australian firm with a team in India |
| Clock difference | None, or a few hours inside large countries | Usually zero to three hours | 4.5 to 5.5 hours ahead of the UK, 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of the continental US, 4.5 to 5.5 hours behind Sydney |
| Live overlap | The whole working day | Most of the day | Partial: much of a UK day, a US East Coast morning, an Australian afternoon |
| Working style | Meetings at any hour | Mostly live | Async first, with written handoffs and booked call slots |
| Cost level | Highest of the three | Usually between the other two | Lowest of the three (see pricing) |
| Best for | Work tied to daily meetings or site visits | Teams that want near-live collaboration | Defined backlogs, documented processes and buyers who want breadth for the money |
Nearshoring means using a team in a nearby country with similar hours, which suits companies that run on stand-ups and quick calls. Offshoring to India suits work that can be written down: a ticketed technical backlog, a content calendar, outreach lists, monthly reporting. Onshore is still right in a few cases, listed further down.
Engagement models
Offshore SEO company engagement models: managed, dedicated, project or hybrid
An offshore SEO company usually sells four engagement models: a managed retainer, a dedicated team, project work and a hybrid of the first two. What separates them is who directs the work from day to day.
| Model | Who directs the work | Best for | Usual pricing basis | With Digital Magma |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Managed retainer | The provider plans and executes. You approve plans and anything that goes live. | Companies with no senior SEO owner in-house | A monthly fee for an agreed scope | From USD 600/month for SEO. Local SEO from USD 500/month. |
| Dedicated team | Your SEO lead directs named specialists, who work your backlog. | Teams with a strong lead and more work than hands | A monthly fee per role, often counted as a full-time equivalent (FTE) | Custom quote |
| Project | A fixed brief with fixed deliverables and an end date | Audits, site migrations, recovery after a traffic drop | A fixed price per project | SEO audit USD 500 one-time. Larger projects quoted. |
| Hybrid | Your lead owns strategy. The offshore team runs technical, content and reporting work. | In-house teams short of capacity in particular areas | A retainer plus role-based capacity | Custom quote |
Choosing in one line each. No SEO owner in-house? Choose managed. A strong owner short of hands? Choose dedicated. One defined problem, such as a migration? Start with a project. Somewhere in the middle? Hybrid.
Dedicated teams are often sold as staff augmentation: the vendor employs the people, you direct their work. Ask who covers annual leave and what happens when someone resigns. Answers vary more than prices do.
Deloitte’s 2024 Global Outsourcing Survey reports that outcome-based delivery models have grown in adoption. For search work, that points toward a retainer tied to agreed deliverables and business KPIs instead of a timesheet. Plan details sit on SEO packages, and US-specific detail on SEO for US businesses.
People
Offshore SEO team roles: who works on your account
An offshore SEO team should be described role by role before you sign, so you know who handles strategy, technical work, writing, outreach and analysis. Digital Magma staffs accounts this way, with a named lead and founder oversight.
SEO strategist and account lead
Owns the plan and priorities, runs the monthly review and is the person you message first.
Technical SEO specialist
Crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, structured data and migrations. Writes the tickets your developers act on.
Content specialist and writers
Keyword-to-page mapping, briefs, new pages and refreshes, written in US, British or Australian English to match your site.
Outreach and digital PR
Pitches stories, data and expert comment to publications with real readers. Earned links only.
Analyst
Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and conversion tracking. Builds the report and makes every number traceable.
Founder review
Ankit Sachan, Founder and Head of SEO, reviews strategy and handles escalations. He is reachable directly if something goes wrong.
Buyers worry, with reason, about a senior person on the sales call and unnamed juniors doing the work. The fix is contractual. Ask any offshore SEO provider, us included, to name the people and their roles in the proposal, and to tell you in writing before anyone on the account changes.
Scope
Offshore SEO services: what an offshore SEO company should handle for you
Offshore SEO services should cover the execution layer of search: technical fixes, on-page work, content operations, local and international SEO, link earning and reporting. Positioning, approvals and developer releases stay with you.
The site
What search engines crawl, render and understand.
- Technical SEOIndexing, redirects, canonicals, Core Web Vitals and rendering. For a UK startup, a React build was moved to Next.js so pages rendered on the server.
- On-page SEOTitles, headings, internal links and schema that matches what the page actually says.
- Content operationsKeyword map, briefs, writing, editing and scheduled refreshes of pages that have started to slip.
The markets
Where your buyers search, and in which words.
- Local SEOGoogle Business Profile, citations and reviews for each location you serve.
- International SEOHreflang, country folders and local phrasing, drawn from a programme that covered six countries.
- Ecommerce SEOCategory pages, product schema and faceted URLs kept out of the index when they add nothing.
Authority and visibility
Why other sites, and AI assistants, should trust you.
- Digital PRStories and data that editors choose to cite. No bought links.
- AI search visibilityEntity clean-up, answer-first rewrites and hand checks of how assistants describe you.
- ReportingLeads first, then search metrics, the work log and next month’s plan.
AI inside the delivery, and around it
Google states in its guidance on AI in Search that appearing in AI Overviews and AI Mode needs no special optimization beyond SEO fundamentals. So AI search visibility is part of the same scope, handled with extra checks on how assistants describe you.
AI also sits inside most outsourced delivery now. Deloitte’s 2024 survey found that 83% of executives already use AI as part of their outsourced services. Ask any offshore SEO company where AI touches your work, which outputs a person checks and whether your data goes into third-party tools. Put the answers in the statement of work.

Transition
Offshore SEO company onboarding: a 6-step transition from your current setup
Digital Magma moves each new offshore SEO company engagement through six steps, and each one ends with a document you keep. Knowledge transfer from whoever ran SEO before usually takes the longest.
Discovery and access
A scoping call, then user invitations to Search Console, GA4, your CMS and any other tools. No shared passwords. Output: an access log listing every user and permission level.
Knowledge transfer
From your current agency or team: change logs, redirect maps, disavow history, the content calendar, past audits, keyword maps and analytics annotations. Output: a handover pack.
Baseline audit
Technical, content and authority review against today’s numbers. Output: benchmark figures and an issue list ranked by likely impact.
Governance set-up
RACI chart, SLA terms, meeting rhythm and the shared tracker agreed, as described in the next section. Output: a signed operating document.
First 30-day sprint
The highest-impact fixes and pages, shipped and recorded. Output: a dated change log you can check against Search Console.
Review and adjust
What moved, what stalled and what the next quarter should hold. Output: a plan for the next 90 days, with scope revised if needed.
Switching vendors goes wrong most often at step two. An outgoing agency has little reason to be thorough, and the file that matters most tends to be the one nobody kept. Request the handover items in writing, with a date, before you give notice, while the outgoing team still has a reason to cooperate.
When an item cannot be found, the baseline audit rebuilds what it can from Search Console and the live site, and flags what is lost for good.
Governance
Offshore SEO governance: SLAs, RACI and escalation you can hold us to
Offshore SEO governance means writing down who does what, how quickly, and what happens when something breaks. With Digital Magma, the service levels, who-does-what and the escalation path are agreed in writing as part of the proposal, before work starts.
What a service level agreement should cover
- Reply windows for routine messages and for urgent ones, defined separately
- Report dates, so the monthly report arrives on a known day
- Change approval rules: which changes need sign-off, and who signs
- Incident handling, for example a traffic drop after a release: who investigates first, and when you hear
- Holiday cover, including Indian public holidays and your own
- Scope changes: how they are requested, estimated and priced
We set the actual numbers per contract and do not publish them here. A reply window that suits a two-person startup is wrong for an enterprise team with a fixed release calendar.
Escalation path
Your account lead handles day-to-day questions. Anything unresolved goes to founder Ankit Sachan. Both names sit in the operating document.
Periodic review
At an interval agreed in the scope, a longer session: goals against results, what the next quarter should prioritise, and whether the scope or the model itself still fits. A company that starts managed may move to a hybrid once it hires an in-house lead.
| SEO task | Your team | Digital Magma |
|---|---|---|
| Keyword strategy and priorities | A | R: research, propose, revise |
| Technical SEO tickets | A, plus R for deployment by your developers | R: diagnose, write the ticket, verify after release |
| Content briefs and drafts | C on facts, A on final sign-off | R |
| Publishing in the CMS | A | R when given an editor role, otherwise C |
| Link outreach and digital PR | C for spokespeople and data, I on placements | R, and A for link vetting |
| Monthly reporting | I on the report, A on next month’s plan | R |
| Account ownership and access | A (owner or admin) | I (invited user) |
Working rhythm
Offshore SEO team workflow: how work moves across time zones
An offshore SEO team in India works ahead of most Western clients, so the workflow is async by default, with a few live slots booked in advance. Digital Magma works Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 9 pm IST.
Indian Standard Time is fixed at UTC+5:30 all year (reference), so a 9 am to 9 pm IST day runs from 03:30 to 15:30 UTC. The time zone overlap that results is generous for the UK, which shares most of its working day. US East Coast clients get their mornings. Australian clients get their afternoons. The US West Coast has almost no shared office hours and runs on written updates.
Async communication carries most of the load, and it works because each message is complete. The routine is an end-of-day update in your tracker or by email: what shipped, what is blocked, what is needed from you. Questions are batched so they reach your inbox once, ready for your morning, instead of arriving one at a time through the night.
Developer handoffs use a fixed ticketing format, so a ticket written in Noida can be picked up in Toronto without a call: URL, issue, evidence, fix and acceptance test. Your developers keep their own backlog and sprint rhythm.

Security
Offshore SEO security: access control, data handling and compliance
Offshore SEO security comes down to access control: individual logins, the lowest permission each task needs, two-factor authentication and a clean exit. Digital Magma works as an invited user inside your accounts and never asks for a shared password.
Google Search Console
Owners add others as full or restricted users. Google’s hiring advice says to give an SEO only read access while it runs an audit. Search Console permissions
Google Analytics 4
Roles run from Viewer up to Administrator, and data restrictions can hide cost and revenue metrics from a user who does not need them. GA4 access roles
Google Ads
If search work needs Ads conversion data, link your account to the agency’s manager account instead of sharing a login. You can end the link yourself. About manager accounts
CMS and hosting
An editor role is usually enough. Changes are tried on a staging environment first where you have one. Server access is granted only for a task that requires it, then withdrawn.
Compliance on both sides
Most search work never touches personal data, since Search Console and GA4 report in aggregate. Form entries visible to CMS editors are the usual exception, so decide on those before granting access.
Where UK personal data does reach a provider in India, the ICO’s guidance on international transfers explains when UK GDPR treats it as a restricted transfer. For EU data, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses are the usual safeguard. In India, the DPDP Act is coming into force through the DPDP Rules, 2025, notified on 14 November 2025 with some provisions phased in later.
General information, not legal advice. Ask your own counsel about your obligations.
Quality
Offshore SEO quality assurance: what is checked before work ships
Offshore SEO quality assurance is a written QA checklist that every piece of work passes before it reaches your site or your inbox. Ask any provider to show you theirs. The one below is how Digital Magma checks work.
| Work type | Checks before it ships | Who signs off |
|---|---|---|
| Technical changes | Each change is checked before release, tested on a staging environment where one exists, and the affected URLs are crawled again afterwards. The exact QA steps are written into the scope. | Your developer releases. We verify. |
| Content | Brief checked against search intent. Facts and sources checked. Spelling set to your market. An editor pass for clarity and claims. | Your subject expert approves claims. You approve the page. |
| Links and digital PR | Link vetting before outreach: a real audience, topical fit, editorial placement. Nothing bought or swapped, in line with Google’s spam policies on link spam. | Account lead |
| Reports | Each figure reconciled against exports from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. Odd movements explained in the text, never left out. | Analyst, then account lead |
| Strategy | Plans and any change of direction reviewed against your goals and the last quarter’s data. | Ankit Sachan |
A QA checklist earns its keep when you can audit it. If your offshore SEO partner cannot say which checks a given page went through, assume it went through none. Unreviewed pages produced at volume also risk Google’s policy on scaled content abuse.
Reporting
Offshore SEO reporting: KPIs, dashboards and the monthly review
Offshore SEO reporting should open with business KPIs such as leads and revenue pages, then move to search metrics, then the work log. Digital Magma’s monthly report follows that order, and the raw data never leaves your own accounts.
- Business KPIs: GA4 conversions, leads, demo requests and revenue by landing page
- Search KPIs: impressions, clicks, click-through rate, positions for money keywords, indexed pages and Core Web Vitals
- Authority and AI: links earned, each with its URL, brand mentions, and AI citations checked by hand
- Work log and plan: every change with its date and URL, then next month’s plan and anything waiting on you
- Dashboards: a live view built on your GA4 and Search Console data, branded for you or left unbranded
A monthly call walks through it: a few minutes on results, the rest on decisions.

Who it suits
Offshore SEO company for agencies, in-house teams and growing businesses
An offshore SEO company serves three kinds of buyer in different ways: agencies that resell the work, in-house teams that need more hands, and growing businesses with no SEO owner. Digital Magma has a set way of working with each.
Agencies
Overflow or white-label delivery under your brand. Reports come unbranded or carry your branding. NDA on request, and no contact with your client unless you ask for it. You keep the relationship and set your own price.
In-house SEO teams
A dedicated or hybrid setup that clears the technical backlog, raises content output or takes over reporting. Your lead keeps strategy.
Businesses with no SEO owner
A managed retainer with a named lead who sets the plan, does the work and explains it plainly. You approve.
Multi-country sites
Country targeting, hreflang and market-specific pages, drawn from international SEO work across six countries.
Pricing
Offshore SEO company pricing: models and what drives the cost
Digital Magma prices offshore SEO from USD 600 a month for a managed retainer, from USD 500 a month for local SEO and USD 500 one-time for an SEO audit. Dedicated teams and larger projects are quoted on scope.

Market reference
Ahrefs surveyed 439 SEO providers for its SEO pricing study. Agencies in that sample averaged $3,209 a month.
When you compare offshore SEO pricing, compare scope per dollar, not the headline fee. Ask each vendor what the fee buys in pages, tickets and reviews.
How your service quote is scoped
₹40,000 is our minimum paid engagement, not a fixed price for every service or a promise that every deliverable is included. For this service, the quote depends on website size, technical complexity, locations and languages, content production, authority work and SEO or AI-search reporting.
Recurring work is quoted per month; a standalone audit, build or production project is quoted separately. Your proposal confirms deliverables, quantities, timelines, revisions, applicable taxes and third-party costs before work begins. Larger programmes are custom quoted with no upper price limit.
Proof
Offshore SEO company results: programmes that ran for years
Digital Magma’s best offshore SEO company results come from work that ran long enough to compound, including one international programme that lasted five years. Client names stay private, and the figures come from Search Console and GA4.

Compare
Offshore SEO company vs in-house hires vs freelancer marketplaces
An offshore SEO company wins on continuity and breadth of skills, an in-house hire wins on product knowledge, and a freelancer marketplace wins on speed and price per task. The table compares them on what matters after month three.
| Factor | In-house hire | Freelancer marketplace | Offshore SEO company |
|---|---|---|---|
| When someone leaves | Work stops until you rehire | You find and brief a new freelancer | The provider reassigns, working from logs and the handover pack |
| Management load | High: you line-manage | High: you manage tasks and quality | Low to medium: approvals and a monthly review |
| Scaling up or down | Slow in both directions | Fast, but each new person needs onboarding | Agreed through the scope-change process |
| Skill coverage | One or two disciplines per person | As many freelancers as you can coordinate | Technical, content, outreach and analytics in one team |
| Knowledge retention | Lives in one person’s head | Scattered across people and inboxes | Written down: change log, briefs, tickets |
| Product knowledge | Deepest | Shallow | Built through your brief, reviews and edits |
| Exit | Notice periods and employment law | Easy, but files may scatter | Contract notice, with an exit assistance clause |
Digital Magma’s honest summary: the strongest setup for most mid-sized companies pairs one in-house marketer who owns the outcome with an offshore team that does the execution. If you would rather embed individuals in your own team, see hire digital marketing experts, or for search alone, hire an SEO expert in India.
Risks
Offshore SEO risks: what goes wrong, and the safeguard for each
Offshore SEO risks are mostly governance failures: the wrong people on the account, work passed to unknown subcontractors, knowledge that leaves with one person, and contracts that make leaving hard. Each one has a safeguard you can put in writing.
| Risk | How it shows up | Safeguard |
|---|---|---|
| Bait-and-switch staffing | Senior people on the pitch, juniors on the work | Named people and roles in the proposal, with written notice before any change |
| Hidden subcontracting | Writing or outreach quietly passed to freelancers you never vetted | A written statement of who does each task, and a clause that needs your consent to change it |
| Knowledge loss | Your specialist leaves and the replacement starts from zero | Change log, handover pack and documented processes that live in your accounts |
| Priority drift | Busy months spent on work that does not move your business | Who-does-what in writing, your approval on plans, and a regular review |
| Security gaps | Shared passwords, ex-staff still holding access | Least-privilege access, two-factor authentication, offboarding checklist |
| Spam tactics | Link spikes from sites with no readers, then a drop | Google’s spam policies named in the contract as the standard |
| Lock-in | Accounts and tracking set up in the vendor’s name | Client-owned accounts from day one, plus exit assistance |
Plan for the day you bring work back in-house. Deloitte’s 2024 survey found that 70% of executives had selectively insourced scope previously held by a third party over the last five years. An engagement built for a clean exit is easier to run well in the meantime.
Vendor selection
Offshore SEO company due diligence: 10 checks before you sign
Offshore SEO company due diligence takes about a week if you put the same ten checks to every shortlisted vendor and insist on written answers. Five cover people and process. Five cover proof and paperwork.
People and process
- Who exactly will work on my account, and are they your employees?
- Can I see a sample report and work log from a real account, anonymised?
- What are your security practices, in writing: access levels, two-factor authentication, offboarding?
- How will you tell me about every change you make to my site?
- Will you start with a paid pilot, such as an audit or a 30-day sprint?
Proof and paperwork
- Which results can you back with a source, such as a Search Console export or a reference I can call?
- Do you follow Google Search Essentials, and what is your link policy?
- What results do you expect, over what timeframe, and how will we measure them?
- How long have you been in business, and what is your experience in my industry and country?
- What does the contract say about IP assignment, exit handover and notice?
Checks 4, 6, 8 and 9 follow Google’s own advice in Do you need an SEO?, which also suggests calling past clients. One answer should end the conversation, because Google is plain that “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.” Put Digital Magma through the same ten checks.
Contracts
Offshore SEO company contracts: IP, exit and handover terms to insist on
An offshore SEO company contract should settle three things before work starts: who owns what is produced, how either side can leave, and what the vendor hands back at exit. What follows is general information, not legal advice.
IP assignment
Paying for content does not by itself make it yours. Under US law, as the Copyright Office explains in Circular 30, Works Made for Hire, work commissioned from an outside party counts as made for hire only when it falls into one of nine listed categories and both sides sign a written agreement saying so. Much SEO work may not fit, so ask for an explicit IP assignment covering content, briefs, reports and any code.
Notice and scope changes
Agree the notice each side gives, what happens to work in progress, and how scope changes are requested and priced.
Confidentiality and non-solicitation
Confidentiality should run both ways and outlast the contract. A non-solicitation clause, where relevant, stops either side hiring the other’s staff for an agreed period. Long engagements usually pair a master services agreement for the stable legal terms with a statement of work for each phase.
Digital Magma signs an NDA on request, and clients keep Admin access to their own accounts throughout, which makes the exit far simpler.
Honest advice
Offshore SEO company or onshore: when to keep SEO close to home
An offshore SEO company is the wrong choice when contracts forbid offshore access, when the work needs daily in-person collaboration, or when the scope is too small to justify the overhead. Digital Magma will say so on the first call.
Regulated work or restrictive contracts
Some regulators and enterprise customers bar offshore staff from certain systems or data. Check your contracts before shortlisting anyone abroad.
Daily in-person collaboration
If search decisions are made each morning in a room with product, legal and engineering, a remote team stays a step behind.
Very small scopes
A few hours a month rarely justifies the setup of access, governance and handover. A one-off audit may serve you better.
Nobody to review and approve
An offshore team needs answers. If no one on your side can approve a page or book developer time, work queues up regardless of where the team sits.
Country first, vendor second

FAQs
Offshore SEO company: frequently asked questions
Offshore SEO company buyers ask these most once the move offshore is decided.
What is an offshore SEO company?
An offshore SEO company is an SEO provider in another country that runs some or all of your search work remotely. It can act as a managed service that owns the plan, or as a dedicated team that follows your direction. Digital Magma is one, based in Noida, India, serving clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
What is the difference between offshoring and outsourcing SEO?
Offshoring describes location: the work happens in another country. Outsourcing describes ownership: an outside firm does it instead of your employees. You can outsource to an agency in your own city, or offshore by opening your own team abroad. Hiring an offshore SEO company does both at once.
Offshore or nearshore SEO: which suits a US company?
Nearshore teams in Latin America share most of a US working day, which suits companies that run on live meetings. An offshore team in India shares a US East Coast morning, costs less and works while you sleep. If your search work runs on a written backlog and tickets, offshore usually gives more output for the money.
Can I get a dedicated offshore SEO team that works only on my account?
Digital Magma offers dedicated teams on a custom quote: named specialists who work your backlog under your own SEO lead. If you only need one person, our guide to hiring an SEO expert in India covers that setup. Either way, ask for the names and roles in writing before you sign.
How do I manage an offshore SEO team day to day?
Mostly in writing. Keep one shared tracker, ask for an end-of-day update, batch questions for a short call inside the overlap window, and write tickets with the URL, issue, evidence and acceptance test. Give one person on your side authority to approve, so work never waits a full day for an answer.
What should an offshore SEO SLA include?
Reply windows for routine and urgent requests, report dates, which changes need your approval, how incidents such as a traffic drop are handled, holiday cover, and how scope changes are priced. Digital Magma agrees the figures per contract, because the right reply window depends on your team and your release calendar.
How do you keep our data and accounts secure?
Digital Magma works as an invited user in your own Search Console, GA4 and CMS, with the lowest permission each task needs and two-factor authentication switched on. We never ask for shared passwords. We sign an NDA on request, can discuss a data processing agreement where personal data is involved, and expect you to remove our access at exit.
Will your team work inside our tools and tracker?
Name your tools at the proposal stage and the working arrangement goes into the operating document. Email, phone and WhatsApp are always open during our hours, and every change is recorded in a dated log you can read. Access to any tool is by invitation, never by a shared login.
How do we move SEO from our current agency or in-house team to you?
Ask your current provider for a handover pack: change logs, redirect maps, disavow history, content calendar, past audits, keyword maps and analytics annotations. Digital Magma then runs a baseline audit and agrees governance before the first sprint. Request the handover items in writing before you give notice, while the outgoing team is still engaged.
Should I ask an offshore SEO company about subcontracting?
Always, and get the answer in writing. Some vendors pass writing or link building to freelancers you never meet, which weakens both quality control and confidentiality. Ask who does each task, whether they are employees and whether any work leaves the company. Put the answer in the contract so a change needs your consent, and ask Digital Magma the same.
How much does an offshore SEO company cost?
Digital Magma charges from USD 600 a month for managed SEO, from USD 500 a month for local SEO and USD 500 one-time for an SEO audit, plus applicable taxes. Dedicated teams are quoted on scope. For context, agencies in Ahrefs’ survey of 439 providers averaged $3,209 a month.
How long does offshore SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes can show an effect within weeks of release, while competitive keywords usually take several months. A UK tele-oncology startup ranked 30+ keywords in its first month, but it entered a new niche with light competition. Judge the first 90 days on work shipped and on early signals such as impressions, then on leads.
Can we scale the team up or down later?
Scaling goes through the scope-change process written into your contract, so neither side is surprised. Adding a role takes some planning, because the new person needs your handover pack and context. Scaling down is simpler when logs and processes are documented, which is one more reason to insist on them from the first month.
What happens to our work and accounts if we end the contract?
Your accounts never leave your hands, because you keep Admin access throughout. At exit you remove our users, and you keep the content, reports, change logs and link lists. A fair exit clause also covers a final report, files in open formats and a handover call with whoever takes over.
