What are video marketing services?

Video marketing services plan, script, produce, optimise and promote videos so a business gets found and chosen on YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, its own website and in ads. The work runs from strategy and scripts through editing, YouTube SEO, video schema and paid promotion to reporting. Digital Magma provides video marketing services from Noida, India, with a search-first approach.

Video marketing vs video production

Video marketing services explained: what a video marketing agency does that a camera crew does not

A video marketing agency decides what to make, where it goes, who should see it and what it should earn. A production house makes the file. Both matter, and they are different jobs. Digital Magma’s video marketing services sit on the marketing side: strategy, scripts, editing direction, YouTube SEO, distribution, paid promotion and reporting.

Filming and animation are scoped per project. Digital Magma plans and manages production, and every quote says in writing who is doing which part, whether that is your own team with a phone, a local crew working from our shot list, or an outside studio you already trust. That way you never pay a studio markup for work you could do yourself, and you never get a beautiful film that nobody can find.

We put “found” first for a practical reason. A video that nobody searches for, clicks on or sees in a feed has cost you money and returned nothing. So before a script is written, we look at what people type into YouTube and Google, what your sales team is asked every week, and which videos already rank for your topic. The brief comes from that evidence.

Self-check

Video marketing services: who needs them, and six signs it is time

Video marketing services pay off when you already have something worth showing and no reliable way to get it in front of buyers. If two or three of these sound familiar, a review will almost certainly find quick wins.

Your videos get almost no views

You publish, share once and hope. Weak titles, weak thumbnails and no search planning are the usual reasons, and all three can be fixed on videos that already exist.

Your channel never shows in search

Nobody finds it unless you send the link. That points to missing topic research, thin descriptions and no chapters or captions.

The product is hard to explain in text

Software, medical services, machinery and anything with steps are easier to show than to describe. A two-minute demo often beats a long page.

Sales answers the same questions daily

Every repeated question is a video. Record the answer once and it works every day, in search, in email and on the sales call.

Ad creative is tired

Static ads fatigue quickly. Short video cuts give paid campaigns fresh creative and a way to retarget people who watched part of a video.

Rivals appear in video results

Competitors show up as videos in Google, in key moments and in AI answers, and you do not. That gap tends to widen if left alone.

Scope

Video marketing services list: everything Digital Magma offers

Formats

Video marketing types: which videos to make first

Video marketing types differ by the job they do, and the right first video is the one your sales team explains most often. Start there, then work outward.

The data supports a mixed approach. In Wyzowl’s State of Video Marketing 2026 survey, social media videos (69%), explainer videos (68%) and testimonial videos (57%) were the types marketers had made most, followed by video ads (48%) and product demos (39%). The same report found that 96% of people have watched an explainer video to learn about a product or service.

Process

Video marketing process at Digital Magma: 6 steps

Digital Magma’s video marketing process follows six steps in the same order for every client, and each step ends with something you can read and approve.

1

Set one objective

One goal per video: watch time, sign-ups, demo requests or brand search. The output is a one-page brief.

2

Research and strategy

Keyword research on YouTube and Google, a review of competitor channels and your audience’s questions. The output is a topic list.

3

Script and storyboard

A hook, a story and one call to action, written for the ear. The output is a script you approve before anyone films.

4

Production and edit

Your footage, screen recordings, a planned shoot or animation, scoped per project. The output is a master edit plus cut-downs.

5

Launch preparation

Titles, thumbnails, chapters, captions, schema, transcripts and ad variations. The output is a publish checklist.

6

Promote and report

Organic posting, paid promotion where it pays, and a monthly report with a call. The output is a plan for the next month.

You approve the script before filming and the edit before publishing. Nothing goes live without your sign-off.

What you get

Video marketing deliverables every month, and the tools we use

Video marketing deliverables at Digital Magma are written into the scope before work starts, and the volumes depend on the plan you choose. This is what a typical month contains.

  • Topic plan: built from search data and audience questions
  • Approved scripts: one per planned video
  • Edited videos: a long-form edit and vertical cut-downs, where filming is in scope
  • YouTube SEO: titles, descriptions, chapters, thumbnails and captions for each upload
  • Website embeds: watch pages with schema and transcripts
  • Paid video campaigns: set up and managed, where ads are in scope
  • Report and call: views, watch time, retention, click-through rate, clicks and leads

What you own: your YouTube channel, your raw files, your ad accounts and every finished video. If we stop working together, nothing has to be handed back because nothing was ever ours.

Where it belongs

Video marketing channels: where each video belongs, and how long it should be

Video marketing channels each do a different job, so one video rarely works everywhere in the same cut. The table shows the job, the format and the length rule for each.

ChannelIts jobFormatLength rule
YouTube long-formSearch and evaluationHorizontalAs long as the topic needs, judged by your retention graph

How long should a marketing video be?

A marketing video should be as long as it takes to deliver what the viewer came for, and no longer. There is no single ideal length. Platform limits set the ceiling, and your own audience retention graph in YouTube Studio sets the practical limit.

The one hard number we can cite is on YouTube: Shorts can run up to three minutes, according to YouTube Help. Everything else is method. Publish, open the retention graph, find the second where viewers drop off, and cut the next video so that section is shorter or gone.

Expert detail

YouTube marketing services and video strategy: how Digital Magma plans for search

Digital Magma’s YouTube marketing services start from the searcher, not the studio. We work out what people ask, package each answer so it wins the click, and make the whole channel easy to follow.

Topic and keyword research

We begin with YouTube’s own search suggestions, the video results Google shows for your topic, and the questions your sales and support teams hear. A topic that already has viewers and weak competing videos is a better bet than one you simply find interesting. It is the same research habit we use for written content, and it feeds scripts for our content writing work.

Packaging: title, thumbnail and first seconds

Title and thumbnail decide whether someone clicks. The first seconds decide whether they stay. We write titles that repeat the searcher’s own words, brief thumbnails with one clear subject and few words, and open each video with the answer or the promise. If a thumbnail under-performs after a fair test, we replace it. That is a ten-minute fix that can lift a video that is otherwise fine.

Chapters, playlists and captions

Chapters help viewers jump to the part they need, and they can also help Google show key moments for a video in search. Playlists keep people watching related videos in sequence. Captions make videos usable without sound and for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing, and they give search engines more text to read. End screens then point viewers to the next step.

One recording becomes a long YouTube video, Shorts and Reels, a LinkedIn clip, a website watch page with transcript, an email thumbnail and a video ad cut One shoot, many assets One longrecording Full YouTube video, with chapters Shorts and Reels cut-downs LinkedIn clip with captions Website watch page and transcript Email thumbnail linking to the video Hook-first cut for video ads

The short-form system

Shorts and Reels work best as a system, never as a side project. We cut one long recording into several clips, each opening on its strongest sentence, and point the clips back to the full video. Shorts bring new viewers to the channel, and the long videos turn them into subscribers and leads.

YouTube ads

Through Google Ads we can run in-stream ads, in-feed ads, Shorts ads and bumper ads. We start with a small test budget, retarget viewers who watched part of a video, and judge results by cost per lead, not cost per view. Our PPC services page explains how we manage Google Ads accounts.

Channel set-up from zero

You do not need an existing channel. We set one up in your name: banner, about page, links, channel trailer and playlists. You keep the login and admin rights from day one.

Back-catalogue first

If you already have fifty videos, we usually fix titles, descriptions, thumbnails and captions on the top ten before making anything new. It is the cheapest video marketing you can buy.

Technical

Video SEO services: getting your videos found on Google and on your own site

Video SEO services make sure Google can find, understand and show the videos on your website, as well as the ones on YouTube. Most competitors skip this layer, and it is where Digital Magma’s search background helps most.

Google’s video guidance in Search Central set out what a page needs to be eligible for video results, key moments and previews. In plain terms, this is the checklist we work through.

  • A dedicated watch page: a page whose main content is the video, with a stable URL and a stable thumbnail URL
  • VideoObject structured data: name, description, thumbnail URL, upload date, duration and the content or embed URL
  • Key moments: Google can find segments on its own, or you can supply them with Clip markup, SeekToAction or timestamps in a YouTube description
  • A video sitemap: every video listed with its watch page, so nothing depends on chance discovery
  • Crawlable embeds: lazy loading is fine as long as Googlebot can still see the video
  • A transcript on the page: readable text that helps Google, screen readers and AI tools

Then we check the result in Google Search Console, which reports which pages Google has indexed as video and why others were left out.

Why our rendering experience matters here

For a UK tele-oncology startup, Digital Magma built a new site for SEO on Next.js after a move from React, so that Google could render every page (see the case study). Video pages fail for the same reasons: content that only appears after scripts run, missing schema, unstable URLs. The fixes are familiar to us. This is technical work that our SEO services team and web designers already do every week.

Why now

Video marketing in 2026: why it matters now

Video marketing matters more in 2026 because buyers watch before they read, and search results now lean on video and short answers. Five shifts explain most of it.

Buyers research by watching

A product demo on YouTube, a founder clip on LinkedIn or a customer Reel often comes before a first visit to your site. If the video is missing, so are you.

Search results show video

Google can list videos and key moments for how-to and product searches. Pew Research Center found that people who saw an AI summary clicked a traditional result in 8% of visits, against 15% without one, so visibility on video surfaces counts for more.

Attention sits on video platforms

DataReportal’s April 2026 figures put average time on social media at 18 hours and 36 minutes a week per user, and much of that is watching.

Production is cheaper than it was

Phone footage with careful editing is often enough, so a big budget is not required. In Wyzowl’s 2026 survey, 59% of video creators made their video in-house, 32% used a mix and 10% used only outside vendors.

AI tools speed up versions

Wyzowl reports that 63% of video marketers have used AI video tools to create or edit marketing videos. Captions, dubbing and quick edits get cheaper. A person still has to check every cut.

Video feeds AI answers

Pew’s analysis of Google results found that Wikipedia, YouTube and Reddit together made up 15% of sources listed in AI summaries. Text around your videos gives AI tools something to quote.

Sourced data

Video marketing statistics for 2026: what the data says

The best-known video marketing statistics for 2026 come from Wyzowl’s annual survey of marketers and consumers. Every figure below is from its State of Video Marketing 2026 report.

Headline figures

91%of businesses use video as a marketing tool
93%of video marketers see video as an important part of their strategy
82%of marketers say video has given them a good ROI
85%of people say a video has convinced them to buy a product or service
96%of people have watched an explainer video to learn about a product
63%of video marketers have used AI video tools
How video marketers measure ROI, Wyzowl 2026: views 67 percent, engagement 63 percent, leads or clicks 52 percent, bottom-line sales 32 percent How marketers measure video ROI Views67% Engagement63% Leads or clicks52% Bottom-line sales32% Source: Wyzowl, State of Video Marketing 2026

Notice the gap. Views are how most marketers judge return, and sales are how few do. That helps explain why the share reporting a good ROI fell to 82% from 93% the year before, although Wyzowl does not say views are the cause. Our reading is that views alone are a weak yardstick, so Digital Magma reports leads and cost per lead first.

Industries

Video marketing services by industry: formats that fit

Video marketing services work differently in every sector, because buyers, rules and sales cycles differ. Digital Magma has worked across 10+ industries and picks the format for each sector’s own decision path.

Software and apps

Product demos, onboarding clips and founder videos on LinkedIn and YouTube. Demo views are a strong signal for a sales team.

Ecommerce and D2C

Product videos, creator-style clips and video ads that retarget people who looked at a product page.

Healthcare

Plain-language explainers with careful claims and clinician-reviewed scripts. Ad policies in this sector are strict, so we check them per country.

Education

Course previews, faculty talks and student stories timed to intake dates.

Real estate

Walk-throughs and neighbourhood videos. This is our recommended approach for the sector, not a claim about past results.

Other sectors we can plan video for

  • B2B services
  • Dentists and clinics
  • Law firms
  • Home services
  • Travel and hospitality
  • Manufacturers and exporters
  • Fashion and apparel
  • Coaching and edtech
  • Automobile dealers
  • Publishers

Worldwide

Video marketing agency for brands worldwide: remote planning and distribution

Digital Magma works as a video marketing agency remotely from Sector 137, Noida, for clients in India, the USA, the UK, the UAE, Canada and Australia. There are no overseas studios or offices, and we do not pretend otherwise.

How remote video work runs

You film on a phone or with a local crew, using our shot list and script. We plan the edit, direct it and publish. Reviews happen through shared links with time-coded comments, so feedback is exact. Where a project needs a shoot or animation, production is scoped per project and the quote names who does it.

What changes from country to country

  • Captions and subtitles: language and spelling agreed per project, with copy you supply or approve
  • Upload times and ad schedules: set to your audience’s time zone
  • Platform mix: LinkedIn matters more for B2B, Reels and Shorts more for consumer brands
  • Consent and privacy: tracking is configured for each market’s rules
  • Quotes: in USD, GBP or AED on scope for clients outside India

Video marketing services cost depends on footage, video type, volume and promotion, so Digital Magma gives a custom quote with a written scope and a fixed fee before work starts. We have no standard video price list, and we would rather say so than invent one.

Compare

Video marketing agency vs production house vs freelancer: which do you need?

A video marketing agency is the right choice when the problem is getting results from video, a production house when the problem is the film itself, and a freelancer when the job is small and clear. Many brands use two of the three.

Buyer’s guide

Video marketing company checklist: how to choose the right one

The right video marketing company shows real channel data, plans topics from search, and reports leads. Use this checklist on anyone you talk to, Digital Magma included.

Green flags

  • They show real channel data and explain it
  • Topics come from search and customer questions
  • Transcripts and schema are part of delivery
  • Reports include leads as well as views
  • You own the channel, raw files and ad accounts
  • Scripts are approved before filming

Red flags

  • Bought views or subscribers
  • “Viral guaranteed” or any promised view count
  • A channel owned by the agency
  • Reports that stop at views
  • No written usage rights for music or creators
  • A long lock-in before any results

Six questions to ask any video marketing company

  • Who owns the raw footage and the channel?
  • How do you pick topics?
  • What does one shoot day produce?
  • How will you track leads from video?
  • What happens to the ad accounts if we stop?
  • How are captions and languages handled?

Read more about Digital Magma before you decide, and ask us the same six questions.

What to expect

Video marketing results: what to expect in 30, 60 and 90 days

Video marketing results from ads can show within weeks, while search views build over months. Here is how the first 90 days usually run at Digital Magma.

Days 1–30

Audit and first uploads

Channel and site audit, topic plan, approved scripts, first uploads fully optimised, and the back catalogue fixed.

Days 31–60

Rhythm and first ads

A steady Shorts and Reels rhythm, first test ads, and the first real retention data to read.

Days 61–90

Double down

More of the formats with the best retention and click-through rate, fewer of the rest, and a lead review.

Months 4–12

Compounding

Evergreen videos keep earning search views while new ones are added.

Production time depends on the type of video. A screen-recorded demo takes far less than an animation. We give a schedule with each quote, and no agency can promise a view count.

Measurement

Video marketing KPIs: how Digital Magma measures what video earns

Video marketing KPIs should end in money. Digital Magma reports attention, action, search and business numbers together, so a rise in views is never mistaken for a rise in enquiries.

GroupMetricsWhere we read them
AttentionImpressions, click-through rate, average view duration, audience retentionYouTube Studio
ActionClicks, sign-ups, leads, view-through conversions, assisted conversionsGA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager
SearchYouTube search traffic, Google video impressions, key moments shownYouTube Studio, Search Console
BusinessCost per lead from video ads, revenue influencedGoogle Ads, your CRM

Views versus value

Views tell you a video was shown. Retention tells you whether it was worth watching. Clicks and leads tell you whether it worked. We tag video links with UTM parameters and use Tag Manager and GA4 so a lead can be traced back to the video that sent it.

Illustration of an audience retention curve: a steep drop in the first seconds, a gentle decline, a dip at a slow section and a small rise at a key moment 100%0%Time in the video Hook decides this drop Slow section, cut it Viewers rewatch a good part Illustration only, not client data

Read the curve, not the average. The steepest drop is almost always in the first seconds, which is why we write the hook last and test it first.

Avoid these

Video marketing mistakes and myths to avoid

Video marketing mistakes are mostly about order and measurement: making the wrong video first, hiding it from search, and judging it by the wrong number. These are the ones Digital Magma sees most.

1. Starting with the brand film

It is expensive, hard to find and rarely answers a question anyone is asking. Make it later.

2. No hook

A slow logo animation or a long greeting loses viewers before the point arrives.

3. One upload, one platform

The same recording can become six assets. Publishing it once wastes the filming day.

4. No transcript or schema on your site

Google and AI tools read text. A silent embed gives them nothing to work with.

5. Judging by views only

Wyzowl found views are the most common ROI measure (67%). Views do not pay salaries. Leads do.

6. Buying views or subscribers

It inflates the number and damages the retention data you need to improve.

7. Myth: you need a studio

In Wyzowl’s survey, 59% of video creators made video in-house. Clear audio and a good script matter more than a big set.

8. Myth: AI avatars replace real people

Avatars can scale explainers and translations. For trust, such as testimonials and founder clips, keep real faces.

9. Ignoring the back catalogue

Old videos with weak titles and no captions are the fastest wins available.

How long should a marketing video be?

A marketing video should be as long as the viewer needs to get what they came for. YouTube Shorts can run up to three minutes, but that is a ceiling, not a target. Set length from your own audience retention graph in YouTube Studio, and shorten the section where viewers leave.

What type of video should a business make first?

Make first the video your sales team explains most often. For most businesses that is a product demo, an explainer or a customer testimonial. Wyzowl’s 2026 survey found explainers and testimonials among the most-made types, and 96% of people have watched an explainer to learn about a product.

Do I need a big production budget?

Phone footage with clear audio, a strong script and careful editing is often enough. In Wyzowl’s 2026 survey, 59% of video creators made their video in-house. Digital Magma plans and manages production and scopes any shoot or animation per project, so a bigger budget is your choice.

Do I need an existing YouTube channel?

You do not. Digital Magma can set up a channel in your name, with a banner, about page, links, trailer and playlists, and you keep the login and admin rights from day one. If you already have videos, we usually fix titles, descriptions, thumbnails and captions on the best ones first.

How soon will video marketing show results?

Video ads can bring clicks within days of launch. Search views build over months, as videos gather watch time and rank for their topics. Digital Magma reviews retention and click-through rate at 30, 60 and 90 days, and gives a realistic outlook after the first review, never a promised view count.

Do you provide captions, subtitles and translations?

Digital Magma provides captions with every video, since they help viewers and search engines. Subtitle languages are agreed per project, and copy in other languages is supplied or approved by you. Tell us which markets you sell in and we will scope the languages in the quote.

Do you make versions for YouTube, Reels, LinkedIn and ads?

Digital Magma plans one recording to become many cuts: a long video for YouTube, vertical clips for Shorts and Reels, a captioned clip for LinkedIn and hook-first cuts for ads. Each version is sized and titled for its platform, and the plan for all of them is written before filming.

How do you measure video marketing success?

Digital Magma measures attention (retention, click-through rate), action (clicks, leads, view-through conversions) and business results (cost per lead). We use YouTube Studio, GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and Search Console. Views are reported, but they are never the headline number, since they say little about revenue.

What is video SEO, and do I need schema for my videos?

Video SEO is making videos findable in Google and on your own site. If you embed videos on your pages, VideoObject schema, a dedicated watch page, a transcript and a video sitemap help Google understand and show them, including key moments. Google documents these steps in Search Central, and Digital Magma implements them.

Can video help my brand appear in AI answers?

It can help, with no guarantee. AI tools work from text, so transcripts, clear titles, descriptions, chapters and consistent brand facts give them something to read and quote. Google says there are no extra requirements for AI Overviews beyond SEO basics. Digital Magma checks monthly whether your videos are mentioned.

Are your views and subscribers real?

Digital Magma grows audiences only through organic search and social distribution and through paid ads on Google or Meta, and we never buy views or subscribers. Bought numbers distort your retention data and can breach platform rules. Reports show real figures from YouTube Studio and your ad accounts.

Can AI video tools replace a video marketing agency?

AI tools speed up editing, captions and dubbing, and 63% of video marketers in Wyzowl’s survey have used them. They do not choose the topic, write a script that fits your buyer, package it for search or read the results. Digital Magma advises where AI tools help, and a person checks the output.

Who owns the videos and the channel?

You do. The YouTube channel, raw files, finished videos and ad accounts stay in your name, with admin access for you from the start. Digital Magma agrees usage rights for music and creators in writing before publishing, so nothing you rely on can be withdrawn later.
