Choosing an agency
GEO Agencies in India: How to Choose Among 8 Generative Engine Optimization Firms
Eight Indian firms with a page dedicated to generative engine optimization, compared on how they describe the work and how they say they track citations. Then the questions, costs and warning signs that matter when you hire one.
Which agencies in India offer generative engine optimization?
GEO agencies in India with a dedicated generative engine optimization page include Digital Magma, E2Web Services, EZ Rankings, HikeMyTraffic, PixelCrayons, SEO Noida, Whitevox and Wildnet Technologies. All eight sit in Noida or Greater Noida. They differ in how they track AI citations and in who they sell to.
Key takeaways
- Each agency here has a page about GEO specifically, read on its own site on 27 October 2026.
- The term comes from a 2023 research paper, and most agencies now pair it with AEO and classic SEO.
- Look for a written prompt list, an entity audit and a report that names the AI tools and dates checked.
- Digital Magma is first because we wrote this list. The other seven run A to Z, so the order is not a ranking.
- Nobody can guarantee a citation in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or AI Overviews.

This guide is for marketing and growth leads who already run SEO and now want a specialist for AI answers. It compares what agencies publish. It cannot predict results on your account, which depend on your market, your content and the team you get.
What GEO is, in one paragraph
Generative engine optimization, or GEO, is the work of making a brand’s content more likely to be used and cited when AI systems write answers. The term comes from a 2023 research paper by Pranjal Aggarwal and co-authors, posted to arXiv, which tested how content changes affect visibility in generated answers.

In practice, GEO agencies work on the sources AI tools read. That includes your own pages, and also directories, review sites, press coverage and data providers that describe you. Our GEO glossary entry covers the term in depth, and retrieval-augmented generation explains how assistants fetch sources before answering.
What the original paper set out to do
The paper, later accepted at the KDD 2024 conference, framed AI-powered search tools as “generative engines” that gather several sources and summarise them. It pointed out that site owners have little control over when and how their content shows up in those summaries.
To study the problem, the authors built a benchmark of user queries across many subject areas, called GEO-bench, and tested ways of rewriting content to raise its visibility in generated answers.
One finding is worth remembering when you hire: the methods that worked varied by subject area. A tactic that helps a law firm may do little for a software company, so domain experience counts.
How we chose these GEO agencies
We chose these GEO agencies with a stricter test than our broader AI SEO list. Each needed a service page about generative engine optimization specifically, plus a street address in India on its own site. A general “AI SEO” page that only mentions GEO in passing was not enough to qualify.
- Dedicated GEO page (required). A page whose title and main heading are about GEO or generative engine optimization.
- India address (required). Published on the agency’s contact page, footer or structured data.
- Measurement described (compared). What the GEO page says about prompts, citations or tracking.
- Who it sells to (compared). Direct clients, other agencies through white-label work, or both.
Candidates came from search results for GEO agency terms and from agencies we had already checked for our other lists. Firms whose GEO offer sat inside a combined AI SEO page, and one with dedicated pages but no Indian address we could confirm, were left out. All facts were read on 27 October 2026.
We did not use ratings, client counts, traffic claims or citation percentages published by other agencies. Those figures cannot be verified from outside. If your agency’s details have changed, write to us via the contact page.
GEO agencies in India at a glance
Here are the eight GEO agencies in India side by side, using what each one published on 27 October 2026. The table shows office location, the main GEO tasks named on the agency’s GEO page, and whether the page describes how citations or mentions are tracked over time for clients.

| Agency | Office | Main GEO tasks named | Tracking described | Sells to |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Digital Magma | Sector 137, Noida | Prompt panels, answer-first pages, entity and schema work | Yes | Direct clients, agencies |
| E2Web Services | Sector 62, Noida | Content gaps, citation signals, prompt testing | Yes | Direct clients |
| EZ Rankings | Sector 2, Noida | Citation audit, entity set-up, schema, knowledge panel review | Yes, baseline prompt monitoring | Direct clients |
| HikeMyTraffic | Sector 16, Noida | Conversational query analysis, citation audits, entity building | Yes | Direct clients |
| PixelCrayons | Sector 129, Noida | Consistent business details, earned press, schema and sameAs | Yes, with stated limits | Direct clients, agencies |
| SEO Noida | Techzone 4, Greater Noida | Prompt-to-page map, answer blocks, profiles, source links | Yes | Direct clients |
| Whitevox | Sector 126, Noida | AI visibility, structured data, voice GEO, technical work | Yes | Direct clients |
| Wildnet Technologies | Sector 63, Noida | Prompt mapping, citation and mention work, competitor analysis | Yes | Agencies (white-label) |
Every page in the table mentions some form of tracking, so the useful question is how detailed it is. Ask each agency to show a sample report, with prompts and dates, before you compare prices.
The eight GEO agencies in India
Each entry below summarises the agency’s GEO page in its own terms: where it is based, what it says GEO work includes, how it describes measurement, and who the offer is for. We quote sparingly and paraphrase the rest. The numbering is order, not rank, with Digital Magma first as the author.
1. Digital Magma
Digital Magma is our agency.
- Office: Sector 137, Noida. Founded 2020 by Ankit Sachan, who brings 10+ years in SEO and digital marketing.
- GEO work: a written prompt panel for your market, crawler and schema fixes, answer-first rewrites of key pages, consistent facts across your profiles and directories, and outreach for mentions on sources the assistants cite.
- Measurement: repeated prompt runs on named assistants with dates, AI referral visits in GA4 and AI Overview checks.
- Sells to: businesses directly, and agencies through our partner programme.
Our GEO agency service runs alongside SEO for clients in India, the USA, the UK, the UAE, Canada and Australia. Digital Magma holds a 5.0★ rating across 100+ Google reviews and won the Indian Business Award 2025 as Best Digital Marketing Agency.
We publish no citation metrics, as none are approved for release. Monthly plans begin at ₹40,000, ₹40,000, ₹80,000 and ₹1,20,000, with GST added.
2. E2Web Services
- Office: I-Thum Tower A, Office 602, Sector 62, Noida.
- GEO work: its GEO page lists content gap analysis, detection of weak citation signals and missing topics, and prompt testing with tools.
- Measurement: the page says success can mean mentions, citations or recommendations, and that the team tracks AI mentions, citations and referral visibility.
- Sells to: direct clients, mostly small and mid-sized businesses.
The page includes a side-by-side table of SEO and GEO, which is a handy primer for anyone new to the topic. E2Web also runs separate AI SEO and classic SEO pages, so ask which of them your plan would actually include.
3. EZ Rankings
- Office: A-74, Sector 2, Noida, founded in 2010.
- GEO work: its entry-level plan, called GEO Essentials, lists an AI visibility and citation audit, brand entity set-up and disambiguation, schema markup, content optimisation and a Wikipedia and knowledge panel review.
- Measurement: baseline prompt monitoring is part of that first plan.
- Sells to: direct clients, with GEO plans published in tiers.
The GEO page walks through each assistant in turn, including ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot, with a short note on what the agency does for each. That structure makes it easy to ask which platforms matter most for your buyers.
4. HikeMyTraffic
- Office: A-44A, 2nd Floor, Sector 16, Noida, with offices listed in the USA and Germany.
- GEO work: conversational query and market analysis, schema and citation profile work, and entity relationship building across knowledge bases and directories.
- Measurement: the page mentions citation audits and data on AI citation frequency, topic authority and brand mention velocity.
- Sells to: direct clients in India and abroad.
HikeMyTraffic describes its methodology as built for AI-first search and lists GEO beside separate AEO and AI SEO offers. Its founder, Manish Chauhan, is named on the about page with 13+ years of experience.
5. PixelCrayons
- Office: Max Square, Sector 129, Noida, on the Expressway. The company dates itself to 2004.
- GEO work: making names, descriptions and facts match across directories, profiles, review sites, data providers and social bios, plus earned press coverage and schema with sameAs links.
- Measurement: monthly reporting of AI referrals and spot-checks, next to a written list of what cannot yet be measured.
- Sells to: direct clients, and agencies that use it as a delivery partner.
Its GEO page treats off-site consistency as the core of the job, on the basis that AI tools write answers from the wider web. It states plainly that it does not guarantee placements and never invents citation rates.
6. SEO Noida
- Office: Tower T3, 307, Techzone 4, Greater Noida. The about page names Dhananjay Kumar as founder and CEO.
- GEO work: turning price, process, proof, location and comparison questions into a prompt-to-page map, then improving answer blocks, schema, profiles and source links.
- Measurement: the page says the team tracks AI mentions and accuracy across generative platforms.
- Sells to: direct clients, with separate AEO, LLM SEO and AI SEO pages.
The site is built entirely around SEO and AI search, and states 15+ years of combined SEO experience behind its GEO plans. Its GEO page includes a comparison of traditional SEO and GEO.
7. Whitevox
- Office: Tapasya Corp Heights, Sector 126, Noida, with a second office in Marlton, New Jersey.
- GEO work: AI search visibility optimisation, AI-assisted content creation, voice GEO, structured data and technical work for generative search.
- Measurement: continuous AI search performance tracking and monitoring of how the brand appears across AI platforms.
- Sells to: direct clients, including brands that also want reputation management.
Whitevox describes itself as a digital marketing and reputation management agency with more than nine years of work, and lists award wins going back to 2017. It names Seeraj Katoch as CEO. Its GEO page sits beside separate AI SEO and AEO pages.
8. Wildnet Technologies
- Office: A-30, Sector 63, Noida.
- GEO work: conversational query and prompt mapping, AI citation and brand mention work, entity and authority signals, content refreshes and competitor AI visibility analysis.
- Measurement: the page frames reporting around AI citations, mentions and competitor presence.
- Sells to: marketing agencies, through a white-label GEO service delivered under the agency’s own brand.
Wildnet is the only entry here whose GEO page is written for agencies rather than end clients. If you run an agency and want to add GEO without hiring, this model is worth comparing with building the skill in-house.
A reading order for different buyers
The eight pages above stress different parts of GEO. This map groups them by the emphasis each agency’s own GEO page puts first, so you can start with the closest match. It says nothing about quality.
| Emphasis you want | Pages that lead with it |
|---|---|
| Off-site consistency and earned press | PixelCrayons, Digital Magma |
| Entity set-up and knowledge panels | EZ Rankings, HikeMyTraffic |
| Mapping buyer questions to pages | SEO Noida, Digital Magma, Wildnet Technologies |
| Citation gaps and prompt testing | E2Web Services, HikeMyTraffic |
| Voice and structured data | Whitevox |
| Reselling GEO as an agency | Wildnet Technologies |
Most real projects need all of these emphases sooner or later. The table only helps you decide which proposal to read first.
GEO vs AEO vs SEO: what each agency means by the terms
Most agencies here use SEO for ranking in normal search results, AEO for being the direct answer to a question, and GEO for being cited inside AI-generated answers. The boundaries blur in practice, and every agency on this list sells at least two of the three together rather than one alone.
| Term | Main goal | Typical work |
|---|---|---|
| SEO | Rank pages in search results | Technical fixes, content, links, local profiles |
| AEO | Be the answer to a direct question | Question-led pages, FAQs, featured snippets, speakable content |
| GEO | Be cited or named in AI-written answers | Prompt mapping, entity consistency, earned mentions, citation tracking |
The comparison tables on several GEO pages, including those of E2Web Services and SEO Noida, draw the same line: SEO aims at clicks from a results page, GEO at mentions and citations inside an answer. Our answer on AEO vs GEO goes into the difference.
For a buyer, the labels matter less than the task list. Ask what will be done to your pages, what will be done off your site, and how the result will be checked.
Where GEO adds genuinely new work
Three tasks rarely appeared in SEO retainers before AI answers became common. The first is a prompt panel, which replaces part of the old keyword list with real questions phrased the way people talk to an assistant. The second is an accuracy check, where someone reads what each assistant says about you and records errors in prices, addresses or services.
The third is source mapping: finding which outside pages the assistants cite for your topic, then working to be present and correct on them. For an Indian clinic, that might be health directories. For a SaaS firm, software review sites and comparison articles.
How GEO work is measured: prompts, citations and share of voice
GEO work is measured by running a fixed list of buyer prompts on several AI assistants, logging whether your brand is named or cited, and comparing that with competitors over weeks. The share of prompts where you appear is your AI share of voice. AI referral visits in analytics add a traffic view.

- Prompt list. The questions your buyers ask, written down and fixed, so month-to-month comparisons are fair.
- Mentions and citations. A mention is your name in the text. A citation is a link to your page as a source. Both count, and they are tracked separately.
- Share of voice. Your appearances compared with named competitors. See our entry on AI share of voice.
- Accuracy. Whether the answer describes your business correctly, including prices, locations and services.
- Referrals. Sessions from AI platforms in GA4, which show whether citations turn into visits.
Generated answers vary between runs, users and days. A single screenshot of a good answer proves little. Ask for repeated runs and trends, and our page on AI citation explains why sources change.
A sample prompt panel
Picture a Noida software company selling HR tools to mid-sized Indian firms. A small starting panel might cover four groups of questions, each run on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot.
| Group | Example prompt |
|---|---|
| Category | What is the best HR software for a 200-person company in India? |
| Comparison | Compare payroll tools that handle PF and ESI filing. |
| Problem | How do I automate leave approvals for staff in three cities? |
| Brand | Is [brand] good for payroll compliance? |
The brand prompts check accuracy, and the others check whether you are considered at all. The panel stays fixed for at least a quarter, so changes in results reflect your work rather than new questions.
How to choose a GEO agency
Choose a GEO agency by checking three things in order: that its SEO foundations are sound, that it can show you a written prompt list and method for your market, and that its reports name dates, platforms and competitors. Then compare cost, team and contract terms across two or three shortlisted firms.
Confirm the SEO base first
GEO sits on top of crawlable, well-structured pages. If an agency cannot explain your technical issues in a first audit, its GEO work will have little to stand on. Our view on whether SEO still matters in AI search sets out why.
Ask for your own prompt list
A good agency will draft twenty or more prompts for your business before you sign, grouped by topic and buyer stage. Read them. If they do not sound like questions your customers ask, the tracking built on them will mislead you.
Check the off-site plan
Much of GEO happens away from your website: directory listings, review platforms, industry associations, press and expert quotes. Ask which specific sources the agency plans to work on, and why it thinks the assistants trust them.
Decide on direct or white-label
If you are a brand, work with an agency that sells to clients directly. If you are an agency, compare white-label partners with training your own team. Either way, find out who writes the prompt list and who reads the results.
Agree what success looks like
Set a baseline in month one: share of voice on your prompt list, accuracy of answers about you, and AI referral visits. Then agree a review point, often at three and six months.
Map the first quarter in writing
Ask each shortlisted firm to lay out weeks one to twelve. A credible plan starts with the prompt panel and audits, moves into page rewrites and profile fixes, and only then begins outreach for mentions. Outreach without the earlier steps tends to send people to pages that do not answer their question.
Questions to ask a generative engine optimization company
Use these questions with any generative engine optimization company, Digital Magma included, and ask for written replies. Specific answers point to a real process. Generic replies about “optimising for all AI engines” suggest the offer is mostly a new label, so follow up until you get tasks, sources and dates.
| Question | A specific reply includes |
|---|---|
| Can we see the prompt list before we sign? | A draft list for your market, with the assistants each prompt will run on. |
| Which sources do you think the assistants trust in our sector? | Named directories, publications or review sites, with examples. |
| How do you fix wrong facts in AI answers? | Correcting the sources those answers draw on, starting with your own site and profiles. |
| How often do you rerun prompts? | A set schedule, with several runs per prompt. |
| How do you report a drop? | The prompts affected, likely causes and the response planned. |
| What is outside your control? | Model updates, personalised answers and logged-in sessions. |
| Who owns the content and listings? | You, with logins kept in your name. |
Compare the replies in one sheet. Agencies with a working process tend to answer these quickly and with examples.
What GEO services cost in India
GEO services in India are usually sold as a monthly retainer, either on their own or bundled with SEO and AEO. Price depends on how many prompts and markets are tracked, how much content needs rewriting, and how much off-site outreach is planned. Entry-level audits are sometimes sold as one-time projects.
Several agencies on this list publish plan tiers or rate cards on their GEO or AI search pages, while others quote after an audit. When you compare, check whether the fee includes content writing, digital PR, the tools used for tracking and the time for monthly reruns.
Digital Magma’s monthly plans begin at ₹40,000, ₹40,000, ₹80,000 and ₹1,20,000 with GST added, and GEO sits inside the written scope. Our page on AI search costs in India explains the main price drivers.
A very cheap GEO-only package usually means a report with no changes behind it. Ask what work, not what monitoring, the fee pays for.
Tracking tools are a hidden line item. Some agencies run prompts by hand, others use paid AI visibility platforms that charge per prompt or per brand. Neither is wrong, but the method affects how many prompts can be tracked and how often, so ask which approach is priced into your quote.
Red flags in GEO proposals
The biggest warning sign in a GEO proposal is a promise of guaranteed citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or AI Overviews. Others include claims to “train” public AI models, plans built on bulk AI-written pages, and reports with no prompt list, dates or named platforms. Question any proposal with two or more.

- Guaranteed citations or “position one in ChatGPT”. Answers change by user and day.
- “We feed or train the AI.” Agencies cannot retrain public models for one client.
- Bulk AI pages. Thin pages can harm the site in Google, which also feeds AI Overviews.
- Planted forum posts or fake reviews. They break platform rules and can damage trust.
- A single score with no raw data. You should be able to see the prompts behind any number.
- No baseline. Without month-one data, progress cannot be shown.
A subtler warning sign is a proposal that never mentions your competitors. AI answers usually name several brands together, so GEO is partly a comparison game. An agency that has not looked at who the assistants currently recommend in your category has not yet started the real work.
Finally, watch how an agency talks about time. Some changes, such as fixing a wrong address in a widely used directory, can show up in answers within weeks. Building enough trusted mentions to be recommended for a competitive question usually takes months. Proposals that promise the second on the timeline of the first are setting you up for disappointment.
GEO agencies in India: common questions
Here are short answers to what buyers most often ask about GEO agencies in India. They are neutral about the firms listed above. Where a question touches on Digital Magma, the answer says so openly and applies the same evidence rules we used for every other agency in this guide.
Which are the top GEO agencies in India?
This list covers eight firms with a dedicated GEO page and an Indian office. Which is right for you depends on your sector, budget and whether you need direct or white-label service. Compare prompt lists and reports before price.
What is a GEO agency?
A GEO agency works to get your brand mentioned and cited in AI-written answers, such as those from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. It does this through page changes, consistent business facts and earned mentions.
What is the difference between GEO and SEO?
SEO aims to rank your pages in search results so people click. GEO aims to have AI answers name or cite you. They share foundations, and GEO adds prompt tracking and off-site entity work.
Is GEO the same as AEO?
They overlap. AEO focuses on being the direct answer to a question, often in snippets or voice results. GEO focuses on citations inside generated answers. Most agencies sell both together.
How much does generative engine optimization cost in India?
Most agencies charge a monthly retainer, often bundled with SEO. Digital Magma’s plans begin at ₹40,000, ₹40,000, ₹80,000 and ₹1,20,000 a month with GST added. Check what content and outreach each quote covers.
Can a GEO agency guarantee citations in ChatGPT or Perplexity?
No agency can guarantee them, because answers change with wording, user, location and model updates. A credible GEO agency commits to defined work and honest tracking, and lists what it cannot control.
How do GEO agencies track AI visibility?
They rerun a fixed prompt list on named assistants, log mentions and citations, compare with competitors, and add AI referral visits from GA4. Repeated runs over weeks give a more reliable picture than single checks.
Why is Digital Magma listed first?
We wrote this list, so our entry is first and labelled as ours. The other seven follow A to Z. Digital Magma meets the same tests as the others: a dedicated GEO page and an office in India.
Do I still need SEO if I hire a GEO agency?
In most cases, you do. AI assistants and AI Overviews draw heavily on pages that are crawlable and already trusted in search. GEO works best as a layer on top of sound SEO.
